Missing channels freeview

wondewring if any one can help me please, my mum has a free view box up until tuesday no problems all channels fine, she went work tuesday came backwednesday and onlt has bbc1 and bbc2 and 3-5 are missing so are bid up ( which she lives for ) and i'd say 80% the others gone, she has a digital aerial already up which hasnt moved. ive checked her scart and connections, we even got her a new box, but they dont reappear. For the life of me i cant think whats up with it and her being without tv is doing my head in with constant calls!
she does live in st.annes nr the airport but this wasnt an issue before :s could it be now ?
Please please help.

Have you tried a channel rescan?

Perhaps the muxes have changed?

yeah tried downloading updates and rescan and re scanexsisting channels

Can you not try the box(es) at a neighbours house?

switch it al of trix and the reconnect and do a complete resan

Thats sound advice...it would show up any tuner/ aerial issues.

Gotta be some dirty ass seagull done something to the aerial or cable trix. Am a little further down the coast from by the airport but have got a mint signal.
