Is it safe to overclock my PC/graphics card with NVidea's nTune software?
I'm running a GeForce 8400 (256 cache) and and an Athlon Dual core 4.6 (that's 2x 2.3's I suppose) with 2GB of RAM.

its safe but not really worth it with that card, it wont have a big cooler on it I doubt anyhow
i wouldnt bother unless you got a 88oo GT 8800 GTS 8800 ULTRA
as youl only get about 5%
and on that card that wont do diddly to see any difference
i dont see much improvement on my 8800 GTS
only on benchmark proggys where i get 5 fps or more
Maybe a small clock but nothing worthwhile, but more spec would be beneficial

If you think (and most seem to) it's hardly worthwhile, then I'll leave it untweaked. I was just curious that's all, but I haven't ever overclocked before in case it blew something up or bured something out.
I'll let it stay as it is.
Thanks for looking and replying all.
Regards.
