Carpel tunnel

Has anyone had or got carpel tunnel syndrome?

A friend of mine has just been diagnosed and she is 6 month pregnant she has been to docs and all they have prescribed is paracetamol does anyone have any advise on other treatments for pain relief?

A friend of mine had this.
She gave birth 3 months ago, with no major problems.
She had an elected C-Section, I'm seeing her over the weekend so will have a chat with her and see if she has any advice.

my wife had this 2 years ago and ended up having an operation to clean out the 'sheath'.she has been fine since.

My wife had this and had the op and hasnt looked back since. Prior to the op tho she was in agony and didnt sleep for over a week with it and it drove her potty, what really helped her tho was they arranged for her to have a splint to wear to bed and that really helped as it took the pressure of the nerve (got a metal bar running down the inside of the wrist) .Mostly flares up at night time. The doc arranged for her to go to her local physio and they measured her for a fitting and gave her one, you can also buy them think she bought new ones from Kleeneze as she now has it in the left hand but by wearing these at night so far she has managed and not had to go back in for another op as of yet.
