Bed and Books..........

Jumped out of bed this morning and the first thing I did was pick up the camera, did a little tweaking in photoshop. Not sure my subject matter will always appeal or what I do in photoshop but I quite like them.

I like the first shot a lot, I think it could have been better though if you moved the speaker and the sub prior to taking the shot but as you said, First thing you did when you jumped up was grab the camera! The colours are really dull but in a good way i think, Lots of light coming in from the left of the shot which is nice too.

Not really that keen on the 2nd one though mate, Dont know why in particular just not my tastes.

The second one would look great if in black and white with just the colour of the Collins orange bits showing still.
First one is nice but you could have tucked the bottom sheet of the bed in!!

I like the fact that your feet were there a few minutes earlier and am iron hard as a result. Loving the first one and I like the washed outness of the second as well. Nice and sharp as well, the nifty fifty does produce some lovely pictures.

The first one is way too washed out for me, just flat and lifeless, and the second just has no visual grab or appeal , possibly the amount of non-colour in the shot.

Nice idea to grab the camera as soon as you get up though, although I'd be wary of trying to capture my wife's face first thing.
