can 360 play vob files?? using MKV2VOB??

reason i ask is i've converted a couple of mkv files in the hope i could stream them to my 360 off my home server.

problem is they don't show up on either 360 or ps3??

anyone else using this method??

Nope use Gotsend or it may be gotsent

For that to work you need a ps3 tho from experience ive had. Gotsend/gotsent is teh best for the 360 unless someone has vob working on 360

Ive been wondering about this for a while to. MK2VOB works perfectly on PS3 with great results - but no joy on 360?

cheers for the replies guys, i have a ps3 but they're not showing up on there either.

the tutorial shows how to convert them but not how to actually play them? do they have to be on a disc or on the consoles hd to work? as i'm trying to play them off a server on the network

Once converted (which doesnt take very long at all) they show as files as normal.

I use WMP11 and PS3 finds shares automatically and so are then streamed.

Xbox 360 streams everything from WMP11 also, but does not seem to like these, they wont even show, let alone play.

ah right i haven't got wm11 on the server so maybe thats why the ps3 isn't seeing them??

read a few bits about tversity, will that stream the vob files to the 360??
