Attention Buying bulk whey protein powder?

I know a few of you are and if you are using My Protein's site then don't forget a shaker
    and a scoop

Other site do them too but I just wanted to point it out as you are likely to want them once you have your powder.

I've used MP for sometime Roach, and always thought the taste was fantastic. Have you ever tried the boditronics.co.uk whey? If you haven't email them and ask for a few free samples, you'll never go back to MP!

(It's a little bit dearer tbh but imho worth it).

    Will do mate.

Why did you change to Bodytronic if you thought My Proteins taste was fantastic and they are cheaper?

The MP ordering system doesn't accept "0" as your issue number, I've reported it quite a few times too. Anyway I was ordering one Sunday night and it still wasn't fixed. And I wasn't going to be able to do an order the next day cos I was out on the road. So I thought I'd give boditronics a go. Haven't looked back since.

If you like banana's the Banana Split flavour is amazing. (They're all very good mind).

I bought some whey protein from tesco's - I wanted it "right now" so didn't go online.

It's a chocolate flavour, and doesn't taste half bad - it's just odd drinking choccy flavored water, I expected something thicker!

It worked out at about £1 per serving - this seems expensive. Is it or am I just being tight?

Not at all mate, it's going to work out very expensive. Gurucurt asked me a similar question and money aside here's how I see the comparison from a ready made protein drink amd mixing up your own. Look at the label and compare it to this:

Well I wouldn't use skimmed milk I would go for half soya milk as it's much lower in fat (250ml would be just 1gm of saturated fat and 125 cal) and half water then add 30gms whey powder (which would give 111.0cal) so 236 cals total.

At boditronics for example you get 2250g for £39 (that includes delivery). Which is about 45 servings ~ 85p a serving and I'm guessing the quality of the boditronics one is far better and includes other goodies. Myprotein is the same and even cheaper, guessing at around 7o-75p a serving.

Just to be pedantic, a choccy flavoured powder from tesco is likely to be full of bad kcals.

I use EAS 100% Myopro Whey/Protein and the taste is superb, strawberry and vanilla are very good.

To be honest the My Protein ones aren't the greatest, they get mishapen quite quickly and can be a pain to screw down. Sometimes it's better to pay a little more, especially if you are going to get the use out of it. I've got some Maximuscle ones that are much better.

It's the "Body for Life" brand, and per 30g serving -

    23g protein
    1.6g Impact carbs
    2.3g fat
    118 kcal

I didn't think that sounded too bad to be honest, but then my knowledge of such matters isn't the best!

That's not the ingredients though. Chances are (and I may be wrong) it's filled with nasty sweeteners, fillers and other shit.

That was what I was trying to say, in a bad round about way.

That's the reason i like the unflavoured bulk stuff.
