hey everyone...

Just bought COD4 and ive been playing public! Im interested in getting involved in the matches. My aim is superb but my general gamesense will be very limited since ive only just purchased the game!

Anyone got any additions for my config or anything!? or anything that will help me in game

pc is hacked on cod4 to many cheats online

get a 360 or ps3-have more fun and no cheating

It's very hard to move from a mouse and keyboard to a controller though. It took me years of resistance. TBH the main reason I made the change is because everyone (including non-geeks) has a 360 in their living room... with a telly most probably bigger than their PC monitor!

Out of interest has all the cheating stopped on the PS3?

I don't want this post to escalate into a 360/PS3 war I just want to know if the cheats and hacks have gone from the online PS3 version.

a way to rank up pretty quickly is to complete the challenges......use different guns and complete marksman 1,2 & 3

as for the online matches your more that welcome to join in mate .........pm lfcmuppet and let him know and he`ll add ya to the list......although he`s away for a week at the mo.......you can always sign up for the cagematch this sunday night ..........leave ur tag in the other thread

I use the PC version exclusively since i can't get on with FPS using the joypad. I don't have any hacks and never fail to comein the top 3 on pub servers. I haven't noticed anyone obviously cheating... Maybe I'm just hardcore...

FPS with a controller just takes perseverance, I love Halo and COD 4 on the 360 and i tend to score pretty well on both. That said, I just got UT3 on the PS3, and am really enjoying using my keyboard and mouse on it

Pretty much mate yes there are still a few about I think or it could just be me being shit sometimes. I haven't seen anyone cheating at all for a while now (maybe a couple)
