Anyone who has been having problems with map Keygens etc I have found a workaround. When I initially ran the keygen DJOverdos (post#26) It worked just fine. But when I tried it on a new map I was getting errors like can't find meta file etc even when trying to activate the map which previously activated using the method. For some reason something had become corrupt. To solve the problem I re-extracted the keygen from the zip file and tried again, all worked perfect again.
What I did then was to search in google for the meta file for the new map (didn't come with one) and copied and pasted the info into the original meta file which came with the keygen. All worked perfectly after that.
So if anyone has issues its worth re extracting the keygen and making sure you have the correct meta tag for your map in the meta file. Sounds obvious but may just help someone.
Most new map downloads should have the meta tag with the map files for you to add into a meta.txt file. That said every now and then a new meta.txt files comes along with all the new maps in.
Not sure hoe the keygen could be corrupted, but thanks for the info anyway.
I'll have a root about my PC at home and post up an uptodate meta.txt file for use with this and other keygens.

Hi DJOD,
The keygen you provided works fine, must have been me tinkering or something that corrupted it. I have seen elsewhere that people were getting the same errors as me using other keygens and have had to rename Meta.txt to Meta.meta and all sorts. I find that whenever I get a problem, re-extracting from the original zip file solves the problem.
I have a copy of the latest 7.25 Western and Central Europe map which I will try later this week (Got 7.20 version of Western and Central Europe working fine with your keygen and an updated meta . I hear people are having success geting the 7.25 maps working on the navigo. If I get it working I will up the Meta file to Blaggards FTP.
I see there is an updated version of TomTom navigator on the PC Tailor (7.451) so might try that with the 7.25 maps so everything is fully up to date. Has anyone else tries TomTom Navigator 7.451 with the navigo?
I wouldn't say there is much point upgrading the program as from version 7.450 to 7.451 isn't going to have anything that exciting on it. The old saying of it's not broken, don't fix it.
I am using this map on mine: Western and Central Europe 2GB V725.1981 from here:
http://www.digital-forums.com/showthread.php?t=370545
And it's fine. Tad slower at loading up the app, but prob due to all the POI's I've chucked in as well!

Good advice, will just stick with your TomTom version and use the 7.25 maps, will save me a few headaches!
HI
Question - a mates just got the navigo widescreen like myself. Instead of him going through everything to setup the navigo with tomtom, will it work if I copy the contents of my sd card to his sd card?
Will it work
Scott
If it's version 6 of TomTom yes, pretty much.
If version 7 then you will need to re-run the keygen with his Unique Device ID to activate the maps. The program will work, but the maps will need re-cracking.
DJ OD
Cheers for that. As hes not that technical, I was thinking:
get him to take a copy of his SD card, then wipe it.
Get him to load up the contents of my sd card, minus the .bif file.
Place that in his Navigo and start it up. Pull out sd card once done and the bif file should be created.
He sends me the bif file and I rename the one in my sd card, and put his in. Run the easytools , and use the meta files from the UK maps and set them.
Once done, - as hes have the maps already, just repalce the meta files in there.
Should this work?
