DJ Overdose, thanks, your .rar contained everything I needed (other than the crack that I had already downloaded). I tried all sorts to get TT7 on the Navigo working, I even set up a PPC emulator and installed Tomtom 7 on that (works great although currently lacks GPS) and copied the files over onto the Navigo. No joy, couldn't get the damn thing to see the maps. Used yours (with my own DCT file), worked first time.
@malcyd - Your way wouldn't work for me, but at that stage I was pretty frazzled and was most likely just n00bing it.
Thanks all, much appriciated.
Thanks for all the excellent info on here. I've got TT 7 working on my Navigo Widescreen without any problems.
Hi m8
Ive downloaded the file from sendspace with keygen but when i click on the word file attached to the post i get this message-
freejack2k, you do not have permission to access this page. This could be due to one of several reasons:
- Your user account may not have sufficient privileges to access this page. Are you trying to edit someone else's post, access administrative features or some other privileged system?
- If you are trying to post, the administrator may have disabled your account, or it may be awaiting activation.
Any chance you could either paste it on to a post here or email me it at [e-mail deleted] , got tomtom 7 uk working fine now looking to add usa maps
Thanks

Its because youre not a VIP m8.
To discourage l33chers certain attachments are available to VIPs only.

Will this work on a PDA running Windows Mobile 5.0
I've got TT6.0, but I've found a few roads missing.
Thanks for letting me know Nibb, ive been looking round for info on how you get vip status be it post count, contribution or donation but cant seem to find the info (very big forums though so might not have been looking in the right place) any info on how to get the status would be appreciated (sorry this is off topic plse delete if it is outside forum rules)
Have you tried the instructions displayed in chilliman's post above? They look very similar to how I got it working on my Navigo.
Just got mine running with tt 7.45
big thanks to all on here.
If at first you don't succeed, then sky-diving's not for you.
Many thanks to DJ Overdose whose downloads I made use of last night to update my Navigo to TT7. Much obliged.
Big thanks to everyone who put helpful info on this thread, now got tomtom 7 with uk and usa maps fully working along with dixie265's YFAP20 8 Menu Hack PACK so got nice looking menus too
If i can just figure out how to get the car icons to work ill be finished, due to me having dixies menu i dont think they go in the root of my sd card but i cant seem to find out where they do go, wherever i put them i get the message no pictures found when i try to change the icon
The car icons go in a folder name ' cars ' & this folder goes in a folder named ' art '
Here's a link for some icons - already in the folder named art / cars

Hiya - my unit isn't a Navigo but looks v similar.
I downloaded the relevant image and nowt happens when I shove the SD card in..
My unit boots off shell.ini which I set up to point to the executable to no avail.
The unit has CE5.0 - that the prob?
BTW...my unit is here http://www.digital-forums.com/showth...98#post2603998
CE5 is what you want.
CE4.2 will only run TomTom v6, where as CE5 will run TomTom v7.
DJ OD
Thanks!
I have inserted you native SD image into the device without a shell.ini and no dice
I then did it again with a shell.ini containing \sdmmc\MobileNavigator\MobileNavigator.exe
Again no dice
So what specifically does it do/or not do?
What happens if the shell.ini says \Windows\explorer.exe?
Does it load up the Windows CE interface? If so try running the tomtom.exe (mobilenavigator.exe) from it.
