Just been reading through the new BST rules, and whilst I can see what's trying to be achieved, I think by the introduction of said new rules you've severely damaged it's worth.
By only allowing VIPS to list items for sale, you've cut the range of bargains from some 4200 (ish) active members to 650 (ish) VIP's.
I think that the introduction of the eBay style feedback would of sufficed on its own without removing the right of non VIP's to trade.
If it were because you feel they're leeching by not giving anything back to the forum, then instead of forcing them to upgrade to VIP, why not allow a pay-per-ad service, so they they can still list their item without feeling as if they're being forced to pay subs?
Do the new rules prevent non VIP's posting a new thread, as posts are no longer delayed for moderation? Are non-VIPs still permitted to request trades or "sell" items FOC?
Thought?
