    Default Anybody seen this laptop?

I've been poking around and come across the Acer Aspire 8920G.

The specs list looks amazing with an 18.4 inch Full HD display with 4GB of RAM and a 320GB harddrive with an integrated blu-ray player. All that for 900 quid is pretty damn amazing last time I checked or am I missing something?!

    Check it out below:

Amazon.co.uk: Acer Aspire 8920G Laptop Notebook, Intel Core 2 Duo T5750, 2.0GHz, 18.4" TFT, 4GB Memory, 320GB Hard-drive, DVD±RW, Dedicated Graphics Nvidia GeForce 9500M GS, Blu Ray, Integrated Web Cam, Blue tooth, WiFi, Finger Print Reader, Vista Home Premium: Electronics & Photo

Had a gaming/supersize laptop from Acer once, never again. They're great til they stop working. Support is terrible. Had an advantage warranty, instead of the guaranteed 5 working day turnaround, it was 6 weeks, and still never got a machine. They're cheap for a reason!

Glance at a few reviews of this machine, its ok, but nothing special. The size and weight might be though!

Personally I would never buy a laptop over 15.4", can you not just build yourself a PC?

For the same money you could get better specs in a desktop which is also upgradable. Also as said above ACER are meant to be quite bad with customer service.

Never used them myself, but I aint heard good things about the customer service when things go wrong!

The laptops themselves are of average build quality, nothing spectacular (like ASUS), but not shit either.
