If your R4 is a genuine card then it won't work. If it is a clone/hybrid then it will.

yup 1.18 is the latest and the last as they have stopepd supportign it i think.

1.18 is the latest however you can hack the TTDS firmware to get it to work on the R4 with just a few steps. I haven't had a need to do this yet but apparantly it works fine.

I haven't tried either so cannot vouch for either of them however I have it from a few guys I know on IRC that the patch works. It's a bit lengthy to do but if you have problems and the above firmware doesn't help then it might be worth giving the TTDS menu a try.

the firmware is just a hacked TTDS, and old now, so nip over to GBAtemp and check out YSmenu/R4YSauto and make your own in seconds.

I tried it on my original R4 and it didnt work. Dont take my word for it though, i may have just done something wrong.
