Suggestion

Could I suggest the following as an idea.
Im one of the admin on a game server which for the last 6 odd years in various guises had a busy membership but people have moved on and play different game now and its on its arse game wise.

We still have the odd game on the server along with a forum. Part of the game server has teamspeak attatched to it.

One enduring part of it is teamspeak.http://www.goteamspeak.com/

Most nights people will pop on for a chat , or for some help, and whilst I'm no expert have helped people using http://www.crossloop.com/ or http://www.teamviewer.com/index.aspx, whilst on teamspeak.
now I know there is Radmin and various other more pro methods but it works and is simple for folks who are not pc savvy.




My suggestion is to get a teamspeak server running you can get a ten slot one for about £20 per year, and that way if anyone needed help or just wanted a chat (no rimming ) then it fits in with what this kind of forum is about . There are plenty of clued up people on here and to be able to grab one of them on teamspeak whilst getting assistance via one of the above screen sharing programmes would be quiet unique for a big forum.

Also the Shop Neo should be pushed more, ie peeps could post up requirements, someoone from the shop can reply and sort the person out with a DF Deal again a teamspeak channel could be set up for this.


Quiet often people on here will buy the same thing so a buyers club type thing could be done, ie ten peeps want gadget x , The shop does a deal everyone happy.

What do folks think ?

Good idea, not sure if it will work for ShopNeo as they have a phoneline and email, and we have PM, email and MSN but could be used somewhere on here I'm sure, like technical help.

Some others should be able to post some good applications for it.
