Ctrl+f is back! Result!

For some reason using ctrl+f to find sections didn't work for months but it's back now so thanks!

Yea I'm aware that the feature is standard but it didn't work on DF. For a long time ctrl+f wouldn't find the text on the index. If you pressed ctrl+f and typed 'dog and duck' it wouldn't jump to that section. Some code in the site must have changed what the browser considers that text as because now it will find it.

. I said the feature didn't work for months so I'd obviously used it in browsers before. It stopped working sometime after the revamp. It seems pretty obvious to me, if I'd just found the feature I wouldn't have said the feature is 'back'.

obtuse or not, ive used inline search on df's main page several times in past months.... worked fine.

..so still sounds like bollox to me.

I'm genuinely surprised to hear that since it hasn't worked for me (on firefox on several computers). It seems fairly obvious to me that my post is saying the ctrl+f feature that I've used for a while stopped working for a period, do you think it's bollox that that happened or you think I just found the feature but made that post?

It did, if you think I just 'thought' it wasn't working on DF headers for a few months, fair enough. Each to their own, we all have ctrl+f functionality on DF now so happy days!
