Lost all my stats! Help

Regards PC version of game.

Formatted my pc last nite nd backed up the player profiles folder in cod4 directory. Re-installed game and placed folder back. restarted game nd it ses theres an error reading the stats and they have been reset. Still got the backup i made. Any way of making it work? Dont fancy ranking up again.

I've just formatted my PC and copied the config_mp.cfg and mpdata over to my profile folder and it worked great..

Did you create the exact same profile name?
