sms and caller display

Evening all,
just got a n95 8gb, transferred all contacts over etc, but when i get a message or someone calls i'm getting the +44 before their numbers and not the contact names.

any help is appreciated as theres some people i dont want to answer!

Never had an n95 (or any nokia for a while actually) but most phones don't actually match the full number, but only so many digits. I found if you had the same number in your phonebook twice, many phones would get confused as to which one to actually display.

Aye the lad be right more than likely multiple entry on phonebook or sim memory failing that it could be the CLR on the sim which would require the network to reset.
