WTF? how sad who really gives a fuck
Not sure why BT owning dabs is a problem, if dabs is cheapest I buy from them, simple as. Why would you want BT to go bust anyway?
But the info about Phorm is interesting, maybe (if it is true) rap should add the text to DF template as I am on BT and a mod of the dl section
BTW why is the plugin no longer availiable? If someone can dl it and send it to me I would appreciate it.

"Dephormation" will not be installed because it does not provide secure updates

thanks for this, I had a previous version on my last install.
I wrote to BT the last time this came up , and they said there would be an opt out, but Im dam sure I dont want any Russian firms having ll my info , they claim they cant fit the info to the user , but its claimed it can pick up all the info you put into webforms email etc.
I have been with BT for years but if I can get out of my current contract due to changes in terms and conditions then I will
I had reason to contact them recently. i noticed in the evening my net was slow. I just knew I was being capped.
I got a reply from BT to phone the FUP dept and sure enough because I had deemed it fit to use my option 3 unlimted Broadband to go over 100 gig for the month ,(thats including me the wife and kids) they had capped me.
Because Im option 3 and pay the top amount they dont contact you or send emails if you go over 100 gig on your unlimted account, its only option 1 and 2 where they get to charge you more or move you to option3.
Im not a big dowloader but I like the BBC Iplayer and the likes and by paying for a premium service I expect a premium service, not so according to BT.
I even signed up to their bt homeplayer box usleless if they cap me at 128k on my 8mb line as the box needs a 2mb min connection.
I think I have another 6 months to go with them but if I can get out of it I will , then I'll sign p with an entanet reseller or similar
Yep I have the same problem -
extensions.checkUpdateSecurity
Is not in the list...

Hmmm. Can't seem to be able to make a new boolean. Keeps creating it as a string. Any ideas.....?
If you can smell it, it's in your mouth.
Click
Right click the list naywhere, goto new, then click boolean. Paste in the string and set it to false. Restart firefox and it works a treat
As much as I found the articles an interesting read, I fail to see how the thread title is appropriate for the content in it (except on banner on one page).
What's new? They've owned them for AGES!
