    Hi All,

Just wondering what the fook i can do bout a tosser who purchased Rockband from me.

He paid but due to new rules where paypal wont release funds till postiive feedback has been left or 21days after the item sold.

Sent item on Monday he recieved Wednesday as mentiioned i.e. 48hr delivery.
Left him excellent feedback and today leaves me Negative feedback mentioning that i have tried ripping him off.

He fooking knows how to play the game.......

Without sellers there would be no buyers.

Ebay are thick if they think sellers are gonna stand for this.

What happens to the money he sent? Will you still get it after 21 days?

i only buy on ebay refuse to sell there as it's not safe!!!!

saying that i purchased 2 hd dvd's on the 3rd and 4th and not recieved em
purchased another 2 on the 6th recieved em 2 days later........

so having second thoughts about that now aswell...

If i were you i'd wait till you got your money then close your paypal account and ebay account before he trys the dispute
panel and claims his money back.

I know quite a few sellers who have closed their accounts due to all this and being ripped off by buyers who claim they haven't recieved items or they were stitched up or sent faulty stuff and claimed through paypal to get money back. Next door neighbour got screwed out of £350 for a ps3 he sold, buyer claimed he sent him a empty box and claimed the money back.

Needless to say he's talking about taking a trip down to london to give this guy a good talking too (knowing him will mean front door off hinges and property emptied).

And they wonder why it's becoming a growing trend that people pursue individuals and make horrendous attacks against em in real life and the event that actually started it was on the internet... People will only take so much of being ripped off and then take care of buisness in there own way....

Ebay is full of robbing b@st@rds these days. My old man uses it quite a bit. Somebody sent him something that was trashed. Had to go to small claims court to resolve that one. It happened again shortly after - we sent the goods back to return address. Seller then says that return address was wrong and refuses to communicate anymore. Got the money back from Paypal eventually after messing about for almost 2 months - retelling the same story over and over and sending proofs of postage and all sorts of stuff. I told my dad to just leave it - it isn't worth the hassle these days.

I didn't know about these new rules, wtf are they playing at. They are playing into the hands of untrustworthly knob heads.

If that is the case, I too will not be selling anything else on ebay.

We need to pass this info on to as many people as possible, if they notice a down turn in sellers they will quickly change the rules back.

They're only witholding money from sellers with little to no history.

I've had a few try it on recently, probably 40 in three months. They all get the same answer - send it back and I'll give you a refund. Most don't - I've sent six refunds in that time. I've been negged for a working LCD that he had to dismantle and rebuild due to 'water damage', but the only Paypal claim I've had to defend in the past year was last Xmas when some dumb bint wanted a full refund because the box on her used freeview tuner wasn't fit to give as a present.

I left her feedback. Cheapskate annoying whining xxxx (and they're not kisses).

its a piss take with there charges, and how YOU HAVE TO HAVE PAYPAL TO SELL CERTAIN ITEMS, surely its against some sort of law that they are forcing you to usee there other company for you to pay. so in theory get ripped 3 times.

i placed an item on ebay with a start price of 99p, i had about 10 watchers at the end, but it sold for 99p.

so it cost me 10p to insert it on ebay, 7p for it to be sold, and then forced to be paid via paypal and get charged 49p for it as well, what a fookin bargain of 34p i received.

and is it really worth all the mither for that

You were fortunate to get away with that, it costs 40p to list an item now.

I simply buy from Ebay now. Too unsafe to sell, some scammers will always try their best to screw you over.

There needs to be an alternative, I know there are other sites but none as big as Ebay. In Australia (I think) you can ONLY use Paypal!!!

    FOOKING EBAY/PAYPAL WANKERS !!!!!

Just sold a few items on ebay after not using it for selling and did not know about this. I was hoping for the money in time for weekend but buyer also did not know this so has only just left feedback so money wont hit my account till next week.

Sure i saw somewhere that if your score is over 50 i think that this does not happen, can anyone confirm this ??
Mine is late 30's so can i buy on 10 cheap bits of shit and will that lift the rule ????

Failing that i'll put them on here once speaking to admin
