    Default Gaming laptop

Assuming I have a budget of around 1000 quid ($2000 canadian).

Could anyone suggest a couple of laptops that would be good options. I'll generally be playing football manager games and RTS and whatnot for the time being but I will definitely be playing Diablo 3 when it's released. And possibly world of warcraft in the meantime.

The Asus G50v-A2 really caught my eye for a bit but then I found some reviews that just confused the hell out of me in regards as to what machine to go for. I obviously looked at Alienware. But they're not really in my budget cos after the options list it gets quite expensive.

Any help would be much appreciated. And I came to ask you guys cos I know you're real people with great opinions for this sort of stuff. I would generally buy a desktop, couldn't afford to ship mine out and looks like I'll be here for the next few years at least and I do a lot of moving about so a desktop isn't ideal.

The Toshibo Qosimo seems quite good.

EDIT: Scrap that this sony is considerably cheaper and just as good http://www.laptopsdirect.co.uk/Sony_...EK/version.asp

I saw a demo by the Acer rep and the screen is the dogs bollocks
    18.4" 1080p screen
    2x 320GB HDD
    4GB Ram
    NVIDIA GeForce 9650M GS - 512 MB
    Core 2 Duo 2.5GHz
    DVD RW / Blueray
    Draft n Wifi
    Vista Ultimate

Its a little over your budget but maybe you can find a deal knocking around.

Have a look at the Dell XPS range of laptops. The XPSTM M1530 offers good, customisable spec.
