I'll be playing this without a doubt, I do totally agree with what you said though, ww2 games have been done to death.. soon as they went to modern warfare it broke all records and was the most played game by me and my friends list.. why go back ffs 2020 wars would of been the way forward imo

I was playing this last night and am pissed that you don't get to play hardcore until rank 18 and all other game modes are locked when you first start, you can only pick team deathmatch & 1 more I cant think of (only for lvl 8 & under)
Gonna give it a try for a bit though as I like the new perks and the dogs etc

really? That's a bit of a pisser. I'm too scared to put the thing in my xbox whilst connected. I'll be on it at 12pm tonight though for a few games I expect.

Im interested in what Edge give it although at the end of the day the most important critic is yourself. If you do not enjoy it then it doesnt matter what other people think. I just think it blows in comparison to the previous game. The graphics are amazing its just the gameplay. Its funny but I got a much bigger buzz playing mirrors edge and that got lower marks.

Just to follow up my comment on the score edge gave COD World At War 6/10 compared to ign's 8.8

Resistance 2 got 6 this month in comparrison to ign's score of 9.3 (massive difference)

Edge try not to get their reviews caught up in hype.

i would agree with both those scores from edge having bought resistance 2 and played cod 5
was expecting a lot more from resistance 2, even the grfx are pretty average imho.

I`d agree with 6/10 for COD WAW

Its ok but............................. its WW2 !!!

COD4 won hands down due to the setting.................. not WW2 !!!!!

I prefer Eurogamer reviews, I find they are much more honest and more suited to my game taste, they gave Resistance 2 9/10 and gave COD5 8/10.
