    PS3 Converting MKV's

Right guys be playing around for a while to get MKV's converted to a playbale stable format for viweing via PS3

Tried TSMuxer and other tools, sometimes it works and other times it doesn't tried elimination but just no pattern to it.

So I found the best way to do it is use MKV2VOB choose MPeg (fastest) and convert to VOB, everyone I have tried that used to fail using other methods work.

If anyone needs anymore info please let me know, I've spent alot of time on this and it all (fingers crossed) seems to be good now.

no not that one, but it's too long winded for what I need

I've tried every method known to man but until there is a simple reliable method I won't bother, this means I still download most of my stuff in WMVHD format and stick it in the old 360, noisy but much more codec compatibility.

to be honest mate MKV2VOB hasn't failed me yet, I always select x264 and save to VOB format and it juts works, try it again mate as it's worth it not to have to turn your TV up to full whack to mask out the sound of the noisy 360.

I've tried EVERYTHING, when Sony pulls his finger out and buys the license for the audio part of the WMVHD and/or native support for MKV I'm all over it, until then I can just continue to download the WMVs for my 360,there are LOADS of them!
