cable tv signl problem

hi i have cable tv in my flat and i wont to put in the bed room but the bed room is about 7 meters from the cable point i have run a a cable from there with the cable that cable guys use but i get no signl

can any one help

how have you got the cable conected at the main point
and make sure that the f plugs are on correctly as all it takes is just one strand of the outer braid shorting out on the centre core of the coax

i am using a spliter and as fare i can see the cables look fine

is it a proper cable spitter try swapping the cable out puts over

hi i have done the changing of the cable still no good and yes the spliter looks like that
