Sky+ HD Box problems

Hi

Anybody got any ideas on this or is the box going to need a repair?

Basically, main channels like BBC1, BBC2, ITV, CH4 and CH5 all work as do quite a number of other channels. There are some channels like the movie channels and some of the kids channels that don't work and come up with an error message of no signal being received.

I have done a signal test and both feeds are reporting over 75% signal strength and over 80% signal quality.

I have done a hard reset and also done a forced firmware upgrade and the problem still persists.

I have upgraded the drive to a 500Gb unit but that was ages ago. The box has performed nearly faultlessly (apart from the usual Sky+ HD bugs) since I got it the day Sky+ HD launched.

Any ideas?

could still be the lnb m8 the reading you are getting for strength and quility are for the frequiency that is shown best to try receiver on a other dish and see if itd still the same

i had a customer the other week with same problem most of channels were fine but the odd one or two chanells here and there showed no signal changed lnb and yes chanells are all back
but as multi out put lnbs arnt cheep try receiver on a differant dish as it aint gonna cost you anything just to try
