Hi all,seems a little strange to me to being adding a new thread just to say hi but what the hell...in for a penny,in for a pound as they say!(If I'm wrong in doing this apologies for stepping on anyones toes or poor etiquet)...So,to me then...the reason I've come a knocking is I'm broadening my horizons and having found restrictions elsewhere I thought I might try other places where perhaps more "enlightened" members would be grateful of any help and experience I could offer,and of course,I'm always eager to learn more in certain fields of interest to me,principally,utilising sat navs to their utmost (even though some people think this is information that shouldn't be shared!) Heres hoping this forum will provide opportunities in both directions.I look forward to spending some time here and interacting with the guys and gals with similar interests...

Bit rude of me to take so long to respond to all of you but I have been silly busy lately....
1)BertRoot,I appreciate its a bit vague,however I did say "utilising sat navs to their utmost "....To elaborate further tho,I've got a TT910,720,onev3 and various forms of GPS software working on my N95 8gb...all of them using stuff that can be obtained online!

3)over carl,thanks for the back up,as for petrolhead status...does being a fan of "Top Gear" count? (in truth,its paying homage to one of the stories from a comic I read during my youth,the character concerned was an iquisitor)
