Yep, I already have the 720p .mkv version, downloaded it via VNC at work to my home machine. Cannot wait to get in tonight!!!!!

yeah I watched it earlier and it was good, a typical early episode for a season

The retail version with 20 extra minutes is out in the states today I think and out here on the 1st December.

No doubt I will grab that too seen as though I am a 24 Junkie!!

How does this fit in witht he new season? is it just a filler to explain how Jack ends up where he is after the end of last season.

From what I have read it is a filler. He popped to Africa (or where ever) at the end of the last series and I think this movie is the transition of the new President.

I could add some spoilers but will not, however something that is not a secret is that CTU no longer exists!!! So the new series is a different turn on the story. I know he has signed up for another 2 seasons so maybe they will bring it back?? Who knows.
