    Question Vauxahll Vectra B (2000)

    Hi guys,

Just after some advice, I own a 2000 Vectra and I'm looking to do some upgrading, nothing massive, it's not going to go round a track or owt (mostley because I'd look like a twat doing a track day in a vectra)

Mainly I'm looking to upgrade the brakes first as I have no idea how old the Discs are, and the pads are shite from Halfords, plus anything else I do would benefit from decent braking.

Does anyone have any suggestions as to a decent Disc/Pad combo that isn't going to bankrupt me (someone recently suggested Discs that go for about £500 a pair with Red Stuff pads!! which even I know is fucking lunacy for that car)

Any advice is appreciated, as I'm not well versed at these things.

    Cheers
    Mercury

Never mind guys, my Brakes budget is about to be blown replacing a head gasket.

Hooray, a whole weekend under the bonnet of my car!

get yourself to the dealers and get a good deal on the parts you need and they will last a bit longer than the shite you buy from halfords and other motor factors
there are two kind of people in this world those who are GEORDIES and those who would like to be a GEORDIE.......

Sorry to hear about the head gasket!

I see you're from surrey, so if you're looking for a bit better quality pads or discs or anything, then pop down to camberley auto factors (depending on your area it might be near), they've never done me wrong, im not sure how spot on the prices are though!
