June is usually quite nice & sunny to be honest mate, a prime time to take a car out for a good thrashing out the back roads!

As for what roads to take it out on, there's a lot of country roads, but I really like the ones that I have just discovered recently through work.

The B9001 near Invirurie being one of them. Also there's a few unclassified roads that go off from the B9001 which would be good fun to drive a fast car on in good weather.

If you want, gimme a shout when you come up, I'll take the Evo out and we can go for a wee spin together. As long as the weather is alright that is. It can change in the blink of an eye up here!

NSX easy choice really
and heres something i drove on my track day

NSX all day long... Pretty much all of the motoring press list it as one of the best handling cars ever made. Ayrton Senna was heavily involved with the development of the original version (He was driving for Honda at the time). Its not hugely fast but will be great fun and also comfy when you need it. They are also pretty rare... If its a mark 2 , make that very rare!

Boxster is a fantastic car, used to have one myself and its easily one of the best cars I've ever driven... Does everything you want if its a 05 on 3.2s it will be as quick if not quicker than the NSX, its also mighty comfy and has loads of room for storage (Used to easily do get 2 people plus loads of luggage in mine) etc etc After saying all that I wouldnt pick it... The triptronic in the porkers is not great... The transmision drains power and its also got the worst gear selecter ever, horrible little switches on the front of the steering wheel! Also, there are bloody boxsters everywhere now!

Elise is a cracking car, drives like a go cart... Feels like nothing else on the road due to the weight. Only thing is it is not comfy for long drives and unless your a midget its a tight fit. Track days and country drives only... Wouldnt want to spend too long in one

Ok his just offer me a 1990 Porsche 911 Carrera 4 instead of the NSX what do think ?

most definitely NOT unless you are an experienced 911 driver - and i say that as a former owner!

you will get into trouble!!!
