Ide & Sata dvd writers together?

If I have a Pioneer 111d IDE and a newer Pioneer 216BK SATA can I use this at the same time for writing dvd's say with the latest Nero. Burn 2 copies at the same time from a dvdrom?

Yes - I have two sata drives and one ide in my pc and can burn three copies of stuff off no problems

Hmmm, must be doing something wrong then, I put the tick in Nero for multiple recorders but it only selects one or the other and with Discjuggler I can select both but only one writer usually the sata starts to record.

Don't use discjuggler but in nero when you tick the box for multiple drives when you go to burn (i think) it comes up with a box with your drives listed you have to highlight the ones you want to use - I don't have it on this pc so cannot have a look for you.

Just got Nero to use both drives but the buffer level is all over the shop just a 4x write? I wasn't highlighting both drives just clicking on one and then the other, DOH!
