Default Help 46d extract key from drive req using 360usb xecuter

    Hi guys,

bit of a problem I thought I had the right key for my drive but I dont. I have just recently purchased a liteon 360 drive replacement off of ebay but the keys I gave were incorrect as when I stuck it in the box it said when playing an original "to play this disk you need to put it in a xbox 360"

I have managed to get the drive to be recognised in windows. I have tried to go into maximus firmware 3 and select options and then chose direct dump gdr drive but it wont detect drive.

I am wondering if anyone can help me.

    Thanks in advance.

Ok I will try to help but am a little hazy on your situation.

You have a Hitachi drive that you want the key from to spoof onto a Lite-On? I haven't used the 360USB but does it have a mode b switch?

If not boot to slax disc to put the drive into mode b (search if your not sure how) then once you boot windows download and run FWtoolbox48, click file, detect hardware. Hopefully your drive is visible in windows at this point. Once the drive is detected click Tools, Direct drive dump, Classic dump. f this does not work try RAW dump but classic is best. Then it will ask if you want to open it, say yes. Now your key will be listed.

Copy this into jungleflasher and follow the Xecuter guides on how to spoof the key into Lite-On FW.

Remember to keep your backups safe
