tom tom 7 on pda wm6

Hi I have a htc touch pda on windows mobile 6 Gb map ver 6.50.1046. I d/l a copy of tt7 all installed ok but it now wants activation codes for map. Ive searched this and other forums but no joy, ny1 know which keygen/codes i should use. tt6 was ok but i would like newer version and obviously newer maps. cheers in anticipation

still no joy cant manage to get it to work, all the info seems to be about tomtom ones and go etc. the one about the samsung omnia doesnt give any instructions it also mentions a crack but there is no crack in his download

d/l maps etc tt7 7.450 and map uk and western europe, run tt on pda got my id 10 digit no. copy *.meta file from map to c:\tt7 then run "tt7_keygen.exe" "c:\tt7" " id with a - between digits 5 and 6" but get the error "there is no such map in keyfile 'meta.txt' any ideas please

Are you using the latest meta.txt and keygen. You'll find them in the Stickies, if you need them ;-)

the stickies all seem to refer to a proper tom tom not a pda, how do i know if my pda is navcore 7,8 or whatever. when it refers to plug in tom tom i assume it means my pda

The Keygen and meta tools work for ALL TomTom dedicated units and PDA/PNA's too.

If you are trying to use TomTom v7, then that will use NavCore 7 maps, so select option 2 at that point.

Also make sure the TomTom v7 app is right for your device. Does it actually start up, without a map and say no map or not doing anything?

You don't need to connect the device to your PC if its not a dedicated unit.

Get the 10 digit ID, run the keygen, copy the created PNA file , DCT and META file and the maps to the device map folder.
