Apple Apple Airport Express - Any Views or Opinions?

I have been thinking about getting an Apple Airport Express to stream my music from iTunes to my stereo, etc. I have read a few mixed reviews. Some people say it works fantastic and is easy to set up, some say it's a nightmare to set up and they have never had it working!

I manage all my music through iTunes and would use my iPhone as the remote for Airtunes.

Anyone got any helpful views or opinions on Airport Express or Airtunes?

    Thanks.

Working for apple i set these things up on a daily basis, and they are a piece of p!ss to setup

if your joining an existing wifi network then you might come into some difficulties when using WEP encryption, quick change to WPA should sort that out.

The only time you will have troubles setting these up is if you get a faulty one.

I dont have one myself (house isnt big enough to warrent one) but a mate at work swears by em, he got 6 of them all over his house, had em for years.

Once they are setup you dont need to do anything to em, just leave it plugged in.

In itunes youll get a new drop down menu on the bottom right that will say computer, click on that and select your speakers and then they will play over wifi, can even have it coming out of multiple speakers at same time if you get more than 1.

Also the apple tv now acts as a airtunes station, so you can stream to that or stream from it to other airports expresses

    Cheers
