I'd like to get more coloured work, my recovery tages too long. A black and grey piece whatever the size will heal within 5 days. Coloured work takes up to 3 weeks on me, this hinders me at work. Not sure what to do next...

Nope, today I have started using Bepanthen instead to aid the healing instead of the tried and tested E45. This has brought the bruising out around the tattoo. Still very sore and very painful when I walk. I just have to suck it up until it heals.

Did it hold the colour ok once finished? Looking at mine now, the scabs have gone soggy and it is oozing. Locks sick and infected.

I'm not using it again, it gave my the same problem as Tattoo Goo. E45 is a winner for black and grey, no problems at all. I'm mulling over getting any more colour work, I want to sleeve in the whole leg but am thinking about black, grey and some light coloured shading.

never used tattoo goo, but bepanthan made mine swell and go a bit slimy/weepy like a wet scab and i thought it'd get infected so i gave up on it and went back to savlon,

Nice tattoo, i used to use savlon and E45 on mine as i had a bad reaction to bepanthen a few years back. Now with my recent work i have switched back bepanthen and it seems ok. I'll get some pics uploaded of my recent addition some time today.

I'm debating washing the whole bloody thing off and hoping for the best. It looks shit and is going to need alot of touch up's. Should have carried on with my backpiece instead of pissing around getting something new. Lesson learned!

I used preparation H on my tattoo, turned out well, took the swelling down, not a lot of leaking, and hardly any scabbing
