We need a bit more info mate

    what drive have you got?
What makes you think that it's a bad flash?
Why would you need to spoof it?

could have the wrong key flashed to the drive, if thats the case it will say please enter a xbox 360 game in the dvd drive ( or words to that effect ) also it would read movie dvds ok, not game dvds tho....without the key u will be foobared..just a thought.

Yeah as said above if it has the wrong key flashed into it then it is nothing more than a paperweight

He might have replaced the laser without removing the anti static point If it won't play DVD films then it might have the right key on it.

I've not done it myself but I can see how that could be the fault and he might have got a proper bargain I am still unbanned on my benq ixtreme 1.41 box and it connects to live daily.

You don't need allen keys mate, you need a T-8 and a T-10. Sounds like you need to replace the xclamps and whack on xecuter pads to be safe. Also a new laser by the sounds of it.

ok he did say that he had fitted a new laser someone on the forum said that they would have a look so i might box it back up and send it over there see what he says
il get the executer kit done but i dont really wanna spend too much on this as i still cant get back on live with this box even when it gets fixed still need to find a cheap box that isnt banned
