WTD - Wireless Router for Virgin

All,

Buying my mum an EEEPC for Xmas. Now all I need is a wireless router.

The cheaper the better really, I would ideally like a Netgear but any that works will be a bonus. I would really like to only pay £15 delivered if at all possible.....

mate, do a check first as most reviews i've read say wireless doesn't work properly with the EEpc running linux,I just bought (after a lot of looking) a hp 2133 with Linux, which I'm going to put XP onto instead, this is the way to go and only £190 from ebuyer.

To be honest I'll probably be sticking XP on it for her as she is used to that.

When I had my EEEPC (before I returned it for a Wind), I had wireless issues, however a quick driver update and it was fine.

yeah will work,think u still need to use the virgin modem then just plug in the router

I dont think u need worry bout sending me cash just look upon it as an early xmas present . Ive had a lot out of this forum over the years especially all the free TV i had during the OnDigital days and i guess what goes round comes around so just hope its of use to you .

I had a Linksys router when I had my eepc with no problems, it worked with my Dlink dir 655 also, you should have no problems.
