    Photos Salwick HDR

Took the camera with me as I went into the city centre today, hoping to find something to take.

Before going into the city centre (Preston) I headed out into the sticks and looked over a railway bridge at Salwick, just by the station.

The pics were not stunning by any stretch of the imagination, but I thought it this one would make a decent HDR.

Three separate shots, at -2 EV, normal EV, and +2 EV and merged in Dynamic Photo HDR on the Ultra-contast setting.

It is totally different in the way it generates the results.

    Sometimes it goes bananas....

Worth a shot to see if you like it though. Get it from Mediachance website.

I like it, just missing a steam train to finish it off, not that I spot trains, steam powered or otherwise, you understand.

love it and i prefer it without the steam train, if it had that id have to hate you for taking a "perfect picture" at least this way it shows the emptyness of an area, would like to see it in a dark black and white as well

    top marks fella

Like it a lot, washed out feel to it. Always found that part of the track a little surreal when the one train a day from St Annes stops there.

Nicely done mate, Nicely composedand subtle use of HDR and you did well to reign in Dynamic photo HDR as it does indeed go nuts if you're not careful

Very surreal looking image with the signal box standing out against the stormy sky.

Yeah, could you do that tilt n shift thing to make it look like a toy train track with it? I reckon that'd look good
