We've always struggled against the new boys mate. I am seriously worried for us at the moment!! Arsenal this week, Fulham, who are playing well at the moment, the week after etc... etc....

I am more interested in the results around us hoping other teams slip up worse than us right now! Spurs beating West Ham last night was not good for any teams down the bottom. A good 0-0 would have been nice for all involved!!

It's a strange situation this one it seems that supporters of other clubs Mancs and Evertonians especially seem to have it in their heads that all Liverpool supporters are going on about winning the league and getting in their faces.The thing is i live in Liverpool and in reality a massive majority of Liverpool fans are expecting the wheels to fall off and don't make a big song and dance of us winning the league and are just happy the way things are at the moment (on here being an example).

It seems to me that some Mancs and Evertonians seem to wish we would get in their faces (so they can give us stick when we don't win it),and even though we're not they just pretend we are.....very strange.

I have to agree BIG! Most on here know I am a Liverpool fan and I still don't think we have a cat in hells chance of winning the league this season! (Only one team in my opinion and thats Chelsea). I said that at the beginning of the season and nothing has changed my mind. (I do think if we had got wins out of the Fulham, West Ham and Stoke gamesI would have been more posiitve).

I was listening to Stan Collymore's phone in on talkSport and all the Liverpool fans on the show were all saying we still dont think we are going to win the league, but we have a much better chance than the last few years.

But all my mates who are Stretford Rangers fans keep going on about going on about about how us Liverpool fans are constantly bigging up our chances, the only people biggin up Liverpools chances for the title are THEM!

Anyway - on to this season, the most amazin thing is that you cant relally predict a win out of the top four, because no side (apart from Villa) have retained the consistency, everyone is beating everyone else, and I think thats why it will be the closest season so far - because the lower ranked teams will also pick up more points from the top four!

Good result for Hull as well, nice to see Carragher adding to his tally Well done lads, thats 8 points dropped at home this season so far against Hull, Stoke, Fulham and West Ham. Proper title form that. Just imagine how far ahead you could be had you not dropped those stupid points at home.

United aren't dropping stupid points at home - or indeed away. Only stupid result for us so far is the opening day to Newcastle, apart from that we've dropped to the likes of Liverpool (own goal), Chelsea (own goal), Arsenal (outplayed), Spurs (ok, a little embarassing maybe) - all away, so none of them are overly bad results in the scheme of things.

But then, Liverpool's away record is good, and Chelsea's is phenomenal. The whole season is just wrong IMO!!

I remember Fergusons pre season comments. He mentioned that it would be increasingly more difficult to win against the lower and mid tier teams as they are improving every season. I would tend to agree with him and would say premiership football is changing. Gone are the days of teams running away with the league

With a game in hand having played 9 away games including Liverpool, Arsenal, Chelsea, Villa, Citeh and Redknapp's Spurs to seven home games. Come on Jacko, get a bit of a clue. Liverpool have spurned the chance to be a fair few more points ahead of the pack. He's right, you have to agree with that.
