Have been to Panorama in British Columbia at the end of Jan booking about now before and it was as cheap as Europe for the more days. Well worth a look.

We went to Bansko in Bulgaria last March. F*ckin loved it - cheap as chips. We stayed in a Chalet which slept 12ish. Cost next to nowt, was unlimited booze, great snow. Bulgaria as a whole is horribly poor though. Sofia is terrible. We turned up, dead dogs all over the shop, people sleeping under bin liners, then a brand new Audi R8 drove past.

very big mafia presence, although u won't notice really. Country recently got buggered by the EU as the mafia is so bad

[Only registered and activated users can see links. ] is where we stayed. Matt and his wife were brilliant and the food was superbe, and i am a bit of a food snob to be honest

I'm off to Hemsedal on Friday for the weekend. 8590 NOK for a 12 man cabin (approx 850 quid for 12 people).

Will let you know how it is, but I'm expecting good things. That being said, I live in Norway at the moment, so I don't have a cost to get there, but Ryanair do return flights here for about 60 quid.

Right...Booked up to go to Bulgaria Pompovero January 24th - 31st £229 each with the ski lift pass costing £85 each. Can't go wrong with that.

Just looked on the webcam and there isn't a drop of snow there at the minute.eeek, but it does say that the season startes from mid December to mid April so there should be some snow there when we arrive. Looking forward to it.

Now i just need to get myself a pair of snowboard boots as it's the only thing i haven't got. Woo Hoo!
