    Question Sigma 18-50mm....why so cheap?

Is this lens a piece of junk? It's just that £80 for a Sigma lens seems very reasonable to me...is there something I am missing?

its basically an entry level lens, much like the ones bundled in with starter packages. Its also made for a cropped sensor meaning theres a lot less glass in there. If you were ever to move upto a full frame machine it would be useless. Looks cheap and plasticy too, not like the usual sigma lenses.
