Hi..

Planning a trip to Scotland in Early June hiring a Car and DSLR plus Lens

I have two options....

5th June Drive through Trossachs National Park, time to explore area
with overnight in village of Strathyre

6th June Visit Falls of Dochart, then drive through Glencoe with
overnight at Port Appin, on coast south of Fort William. Time to explore
coast, perhaps even Ben Nevis area

7th June. Couple of route options from Fort William to Mallaig, the
catch the short ferry to Skye. I am going to suggest tow nights here as
you can then spend the whole of the next day exploring the island.

9th June Leave Skye by bridge, through Kintail mountains then and pass
along side Loch Ness to Inverness. Stay overnight in city.

10th June head further east, perhaps exploring Moray coast before
crossing the mountains into Aberdeenshire. Stay in Kildrummy Castle.
Again two nights here would allow you a day to explore the Don and Dee
Valley, and perhaps the Cairngorms.

12th June. Head south across the Glenshee pass with an overnight in
Killiecrankie, Perthshire.

13th June. Time to explore Perthshire - Loch Tummel and Loch Tay before
returning to Glasgow airport - about 2 and a half hours away.

Other options? - I LIKE THE SOUND OF THIs OPTION

I could spend longer on west coast and drop Aberdeenshire- the area
north of Skye - Torridon - is particularly impressive, and could slot
in after Skye and before a night in Inverness and a night in Perthshire
as you come south. It depends what sort of scenery you want to
photograph.

Let me know what you think.
