I had a C905 and couldn't find any extra GPS software for it either. Gave it to the Mrs in the end. Would be cool if there was some though

i ran in to a bit of a problem c905 isnt a smartphone like the n95 or the iphone it cant install the mobile versions of either tomtom or garmin, but it can run java apps, so ive had a look around to see what i can find and i found a few,

    like this one
    http://www.trackmyjourney.co.uk/tmjmobile.php?ssn=none

then theres this one, called trek buddy this one again is java but this should be better for walks as its more of an ordinance survey map with topographical details
    http://www.linuxtechs.net/kruch/tb/forum/index.php

then theres this one it looks pretty good and has the turn buy turn that tom tom has, but has a bit of a clunky interface (its not too bad though its just not as easy to use straight away as say a tomtom or a garmin) but over all is pretty polished its called amaze and to be honest i think if i were using any of them this is probably the one id use first, to see how it compares with the wayfinder navigation thats built in to the c905
    http://www.amazegps.com/welcome.php

then theres this one, it doesnt do turn by turn gps but its got the advantage of google behind it, which means new stuff is added all the time and it always going to be free, theres a couple of ways to install it you can get google to send you a link that you download the sw directly to your phone from which is here http://www.google.com/mobile/default/maps.html or you can go to m.google.com/maps and download and install it directly to your phone from there,

as far as i know all of these are free and theres nothing stopping you installing more than one to get the best out of your phone

    hope theyre of some use

edit- that was a cracking guess on my behalf, i said id post them in an hour and i was out by 1 min, i posted them 59mins after the post above
