My ps3 doesnt get used for gaming its a glorified BRPlayer which to be honest i dont need as i can download all the HD MKV's i need

Where can I get these from? How big are they. Thought HD films had to go on a macdrive hard drive? Let me know as would love some HD films through my 360

You download the 4gig MKV's then run a VERY quick conversion using MKV2VOB, then as long as your on a wired network or on a 200MB homeplug (liek i am) you can stream them to your PS3 (no transcoding needed) thru TVersity

To be honest i think im gonna flog my ps3 again, sell it and use the money to get a PopCorn Hour a-110... the only thing i use my ps3 for at the moment is a media player.... end of.

MGS was OK, not amazin like every1 said, and since then i havent bought a game, everything that is ok is out for both consoles

yeah i aint bought one since then either, and it didnt really BLOW ME AWAY, it was good yeah and i completed it, but as you say wheres all the exclusives.

As u said all the rest are out on both formats, so its 360 every time for me, i only bought the ps3 for the PS3 EXCLUSIVE titles, and i only have 6 games for it that i like.

as for you using it as a media player, you can just use an old xbox and sell the PS3 m8

TBH i may even sell mine for all the use it gets now

i dunno what you lot are expecting really, ive just played about 2 hours of resistance 2 and I love it. I think the gfx are excellent (but different), the detail of faces and the aliens especially.The weaponary is imaginative and works well. The enemy AI is decent enough and they react to you firing at them, and even follow you if you run.

The gameplay is pretty linear but I made good progress and thoroughly enjoyed it. I think this is one i'll be completing.

Admittedly I havent played (or even seen) the first one and I think this is working in my favour judging by other peoples comments. Admittedly it's not a 90% but id give it 80+ all day long.

I must be target audience for this machine cos the 2 games I have enjoyed the most so far arethe two people were desperate for and then disappointed by, Haze and Resistance 2 !! I didnt hear any of the hype as I didnt get a console until xmas and have gone into the games with an open mind. I probably wouldnt have bought this game, it came with the console, but im glad i've got it.

I played this game as i got it for christmas. There is something missing on this game. The sound seems dull and atmosphere nowhere to be heard? i may give it another go but to be honest. what i have played not as good as the first

it def is lacking something. i loved the 1st one. i found the ai terrible in parts too, enemies just run straight at you. after playing gears 2 which had pretty good ai was disappointed. i really think poor use of rumble doesnt help either.
also you character feels like he is too low down , almost like in permanent crouch. my two penneth

yes he does feel like he's crouched all the time i'll give you that one. Im about 4h in now and proper loving it. The bit on the mother ship feels immense. If you dont mind a game being linear (and I dont) then this is good. Not great but good

ive got no problem with linear, sick of sandbox.
tbh i havent give a proper go yet, played about 1.5 hrs. I will come back to his one later and probably find i enjoy it.
i was just underwhelmed - but i was with gears 2 at first, but having just finished that i can honestly say it was amazingly good.
so i suppose i should persevere with it :-) if i can stop playing horde on live........

ive just finished this and loved every minute. the last boss battle and the lead up to is absolutely awesome. Stick with this one people, it's worth it
