I think it looks really good. Can you class that as an OOB (out of bounds) picture?
i got this from the same monthly a while back, they called this one out of bounds

i like it. Not crazy about the second one, but think the first effect is tremendous.
The first one is excellent Peter. That worked exceptionally well.

The first one works really well Peter. I've seen some really lame attempts at that but your's works nicely.
The second is a bit of a mess unfotunately (just bad outline on your laddie)....

once you have your layer for this you can save it as a PSD and its quicker to use,
