Resi 5 Jap demo today

I must admit my first thought of Resi 5 is its speed - maybe gaming has moved on since Resi 4, which is one of my fave games of all time. Another thought though is that maybe they've given us a scenario with a lot of fighting to show how many baddies they can get on the screen at one time now, which is pretty much different for the franchise - there's a much bigger mob than we saw in Resi 4, most then was that scene when you first approached the village, as I remember. Much of Resi is about atmosphere, and maybe the point of the demo is NOT to end up shooting all the baddies, but to figure out you can barricade yourself in and then make a run for it without using up all your ammo. Don't forget you can knife the fruits too in the first level to get more ammo etc.

As for Left4Dead - thought it was VERY disappointing. Its way too easy, 4 levels that can be done in under 4 hours. Very dissapointing effort considering it came from Valve. Its feels like it should have been part of Orange Box, not a separate game.

Demo Details
Experience the revolutionary new features of Resident Evil 5, including two-player co-op with voice chat, along with new characters, weapons, and environments. The demo is set within two stages from the beginning of the game—Assembly Place and Shanty Town—featuring plenty of co-operative action, shooting, hordes of bloodthirsty infected Majini enemies, and a few puzzles to round out the action.

Game Details
