DSLR Sensor Cleaning

Hi,

Post to share some information (I haven't seen this posted here before). I've came across an interesting method on how to clean the sensor (or more the glass in front of the sensor) inside a DSLR camera.

Wonder if this would be a good idea for anyone who cannot remove the dust by "conventional" means (blowing or brushing it off).

it seems an awfull lot of messing around and too many variables for damage
i would not be happy leaving the shutter open for 2 - 3 hours with no lens
not for me this one i feel much more confident with sensor swabs the whole process from start to finish only takes a few minutes with less cahnce of even more dust falling into the camera

I personally would not mess with my sensors above the conventional cleaning (swabs etc)

And the use of sharp pointy tweezers near an expensive sensor is not my idea of fun.. I know you could use a hand blower, but high pressure air on the internals. Yeah right. Nice link though, but not for me, give me sensor swaps, and dust pens any day.
