Diana voted out of X Factor final

Vickers said she would remember the experience for the rest of her life

Teenage singer Diana Vickers has missed out on a place in the X Factor final after becoming the ninth contestant to be voted off the ITV1 show.
Her exit means the contest's remaining three acts, Alexandra Burke, Eoghan Quigg and boy band JLS will battle it out for the coveted X Factor title.
Diana sang Avril Lavigne's Girlfriend and White Flag by Dido on Saturday.
"I've had the time of my life and want to thank everyone who has looked after me," said Diana, 17, from Blackburn.
Ending in tears
Half way through her rendition of Dido's White Flag, the other contestants ran onto the stage and hugged her, crying.
Vickers said: "I'm going to remember this for the rest of my life. I can't believe this has happened."
Her X Factor mentor Cheryl Cole looked on in tears.
She said: "I don't think this is the last we have seen of you. You will be back." Yet more tears were shed by Quigg, who sobbed from when he was told he was through to the final, to the closing credits. Burke, who dropped to the floor when she heard she was in the final, said: "I thought [Diana] was going to win so I'm really shocked."
