problems burning with imgburn

just recently started having probs burning dl discs using img burn the images are burning to like 50 % and then stoping or freezing the program
the light on the drive goes out and the drives stuck any ideas ?

at a guess i would say nothing to do with disks or isgburn, i would say that your burners fucked, try another burner and see what happens then

thats what happened to me when my pioneer 112-d kicked the bucket bought a new one and its still working

Like Litho says - probably your burner - assuming you have previously been using good quality discs and are still using them.

However if you've just changed discs to use a different/cheap brand or even just opened a new tub then it might be the discs - could be a bad batch of normally good discs, or just a crap set of discs - I bought a few tubs of ZeroDefex D/L discs from ShopNeo a while ago and not a single one of them works, they always bomb out around halfway through

Alternatively change the filname extension to iso and burn using Alcohol. I've been having problems too with IMG. I'm running Vista 32 bit though so maybe thats the problem.

it is a new batch of discs so i will try another batch if not it looks like a new burner then

Try and burn using Alcohol first mate. Might save you buying a new burner.

ok update i think its the batch of disc as i have got 1 good burn out of 6 now

Believe it or not - some people buy quality branded media from reputable suppliers, only to find it's a bad batch - shit happens - don't assume everyone buys cheap shite!!!!!

id of said discs mate too I had the same exact problem last month it was new ritek dye just didnt like it at all.
