Been a while since I've had an issue with my PC that has perplexed me as much as this one... please help!

The missus supports a generic Non-League football team whose local bbc radio station publish live commentary online by way of a .ram link

I've downloaded and installed Real Media Player and have checked and double checked that .ram files are associated with it. If I try and open a .ram file from windows explorer it all seems to work fine, HOWEVER if I click on the online link my PC instead opens zoomplayer which can't open the .ram file.

I've checked file associations within zoomplayer and that too tells me that .ram files are associated with Realplayer.

Anyone got any ideas why, despite realplayer being associated with .ram files, Zoomplayer opens when clicking an internet link?

TIA
