Home launches December 11th!

I think they said it wont be out until the evening so probably around 4-7pm. Actually scratch that its SCEE. Those idiots will only get it out next week!

I have JUST downloaded 1.03 , but as I type this, the actual HOME servers are not running yet (error D5027)



The update installed fine.

Guess will have to wait untill later

my mate rang them today, it got released at 1200 and can take up to midnight to get it fully running, depends on your location or ip's or some rubish

Once the Open Beta is up and running the Home icon will be on your XMB under PlayStation®Network. If you cant see it please restart your PS3 which will update your XMB. However, wait until Home is up and running first

OK - It is downloadable for people who were on the closed beta at the moment but the servers are down. For everyone else it will happen soon. For ALL up to the second information I recommend watching the Sony forums : http://boardsus.playstation.com/play...ard.id=ps3home

Nah PSN is screwed. Sony just haven't scaled their servers properly. I got into the store but Home isn't showing and now I keep getting disconnects and timeouts. They should have hosted the files on the XBL servers

It's there now, under the Playstation Network! time here 22:45.
Clicked on the icon, downloading SW now 77MB. Slowest download ever.

Downloading 77MB Home now too. How did Sony get that extra link by PS Store? I just turned the PS on without signing into PSN and the link was just there!
