    Photos Christmas wrapped up...

Here is a Christmas photograph for you all to have a look at.

    Simple set up.

On board flash, manual exposure at 1/4 sec at f/22 and at ISO 200, IR remote to fire camera, tripod mounted.

Two small Christmas Tree decorations placed on a sheet of black perspex, then once focused correctly I sprinkled flour across them and the perspex for a sort of snowy effect.

Tweaked in Photoshop and added borders.

    Paul.

Lovely shot Paul. I think it works very well. Good composition and the use of the flour to create a snowy effect really works.

I also think the partial obscuring of the reflection of the presents is VERY good.

I'm sorry to say that I'm not keen on that one Paul which is unusual as I normally love your shots

Reasons, i'm struggling really other than I just don't like it, looks a bit blurry to me?

All comments are always appreciated, you know that mate

The shot is pin sharp at 5.2 Mb but the compression here doesn't help at all, on any of the photos uploaded onto DF.

looks great paul, christmas card material, if i had to say something it would be a little less foreground maybe.

but the compression here doesn't help at all, on any of the photos uploaded onto DF.

Excellent composition and rich warm colours.
Wonder how it would have looked if you'd used salt or sugar instead ?
