Default Home - What do you think?

Now that Playstation Home is available to everyone I thought I would ask what everyones impressions are.

So here's a poll. Make any comments you want below

I've started off. I can see no benefit for this sort of thing. It's not like you can access it from a PC so you have to be on a PS3. I just find the whole concept of having to wander around a 3D world to watch movie trailers laborious when you can just browse to apple.com/trailers and they are all there.

It isnt that much different to the closed beta I was testing, but I am glad I managed to keep my Summer House and take into the open beta my other aquisitions.

I have explored (if explore is the right word) the 2 gamespaces (Far Cry 2 and Uncharted) and got my Clubhouse setup.

This is just the start, there is more content etc due shortly. It will grow on me I guess.

Its just like playing the Sims really, but ps3 themed.

I cant see myself every using it to actually interactive with other users, its quirky enough to just ponder about the world however.

I think it's alright, I wouldn't pay for it in it's current state. I've enjoyed my 30minutes on it so far

Its alright, plays alot smoother than I expected, im bored of dancing infront of people now though, once you have started doing the robot and telling people your the T1000 it gets abit monotonous, though my own fault possibly. cant see me ever paying for anything on it either.
its like a boring version of GTAIV online... thats all im saying.
Oh, and its a sausage fest!

Its fun with friends and its got potential. But at the moment its a bit barren. Once games start to support if fully via content, trophies, game launching and more spaces from both game companies and others it will do very well.

I think it's in with your save games. I reckon I'll be removing the 3gb file partition too. Not very enamered with it. If there were things to do in it then fair enough but I couldn't care less about wandering around looking at trophies and such like. No way I'm buying virtual furniture either. Are they hoping this will subsidise the PSN? I'd prefer if they charged a yearly fee like XBL and be done with it if that's the case.

The graphics are very nice though - but then it's a static environment with a load of people walking around (Not even NPCs that have any element of AI!) so I think it would be easy to do. The loading between areas is a bit arse as well. It means that you wait 20 seconds for it to load a small-ish area up... hmmmm...

I ambled around for a while and beat a couple of people at checkers, I can see me loitering there with friends while we decide what to actually play

Is there any way to wear the clothes i have won in the Namco Museum Beta (HK account) on any of my other accounts ie my USA account ?

    EDIT: nvm, sorted it out.

You just sign in with the account you want after the Namco Museum Beta has downloaded (as its available on the XMB regardless wot account you use)

    "DF Hangout" is the club

EDIT: I have added a couple of arcade machines to the Clubhouse for ya all. Unfortunately they only have 2 levels you can play.
